This document summarizes the key terms of your contract with Citizens Choice Energy (“CCE”)

In Completing My Authorization
I understand that I am accepting CCE as my supplier of energy and that CCE will provide me with natural gas and/or electric supply, that the switch will take place on the next available meter read date and that I will continue to receive my bill from my local utility and will continue to make payment to my local utility for all supply and delivery charges. I also understand that this offer is a projection based upon historic usage and current energy rates, that the price may change monthly and that this offer is not a guarantee of specific savings, that it is not mandatory to switch to an alternative supplier and that I may cancel this agreement at any time upon written or verbal notification with no penalty.

Price Structure
The variable price for natural gas or electricity sold under this Agreement is established on an approximately monthly basis based upon natural gas or electricity market pricing, transportation or transmission, and other market and business price related factors. CCE’s Variable Price may be higher or lower than the Utility’s price in any month. There is no ceiling price.

Renewable Energy
If you choose CCE’s 100% renewable energy supply option, CCE will ensure that 100% of the Customer’s electricity usage is supplied with renewable energy certificates or renewable energy attributes. The price for renewable energy will be comprised of the CCE variable price plus an amount of 2.99 cents per kwh, which represents the cost for renewable energy incurred by CCE, plus a monthly fee of $4.95. The monthly fee is only applicable to New York City customers living within the five boroughs (the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and Staten Island).

Term
Your service and the term of this agreement shall begin with the next available meter and continue until either party provides fifteen (15) days’ notice of its intent to cancel; The LDC will complete the termination on the next available meter read date in accordance with its rules. A residential customer may cancel this Agreement at any time during the three (3) business following receipt of this Agreement by calling CCE at 1.866.223.8882.

Late Payment and Collection Fees
Late payments or partial payment balances will be subject to collection fees and/or reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs, as allowed by law

Termination Fees
There are no early termination fees for Residential variable price agreements. If a Commercial Customer terminates this Agreement prior to the end of the Initial or Renewal Term or if CCE terminates this Agreement due to Customer’s breach, the customer shall pay CCE in addition to any other applicable charges, a cancellation or early termination fee of $250. Notwithstanding the foregoing, for all commercial customers solicited through door-to-door marketing, the early termination fee will be no greater than $100 if the remaining term is less than 12 Months and $200 if the remaining term is 12 months or more.

Al completar mi autorización

Estructura de Precios
El precio variable para el gas natural y la electricidad vendido bajo este Acuerdo se establece sobre una base aproximadamente mensual basado en los precios del mercado de gas natural y electricidad, transporte o transmisión, y otros factores de mercado y negocio relacionados con los precios. El Precio Variable de CCE puede ser más alto o más bajo que el precio de la Utilidad en cualquier mes en particular. No hay precio máximo.

Energía Renovable
Si elige la opción de suministro de energía 100% renovable de CCE. CCE asegurará que el 100% del consumo eléctrico del Cliente sea compatible con certificados de energía renovable o los atributos de energía renovable. El precio de la energía renovable se compone del precio variable de CCE más una cantidad de 2.99 centavos por kilovatio-hora, que representa el costo de la energía renovable incurrido por CCE, más un cargo mensual de $ 4.95. El cargo mensual aplica únicamente a los clientes de New York City que viven dentro de los cinco municipios (El Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens y Staten Island).

Término
Su servicio y el término de este acuerdo comenzarán en la siguiente lectura disponible de su contador y continúa hasta que cualquiera de las partes provea una notificación de quince (15) días de su intención de cancelar; la LDC completará la terminación en la siguiente fecha disponible de la lectura de su contador de acuerdo con sus reglas. Un cliente residencial puede cancelar este Acuerdo en cualquier momento durante tres (3) días laborables siguientes a la recepción de este Acuerdo llamando a CCE al 1.866.223.8882.

Pago Tardío y Cargos de Colección
Los pagos tardíos o balance de pagos parciales serán sujetos a cargos de colección y / o cargos razonables de abogados y costos judiciales, según lo permitido por la ley.

Cargos por Terminación
No hay cargos por terminación temprana de los acuerdos Residenciales de precio variable. Si un Cliente Comercial termina este Acuerdo antes de la finalización del período Inicial o Renovación o si CCE termina este Acuerdo debido al incumplimiento del Cliente, el cliente deberá pagar a CCE además de cualquier otro cargo aplicable, una cancelación o cargo por cancelación anticipada de $250. A pesar de lo anterior, para todos los clientes comerciales solicitados a través de la comercialización de puerta a puerta, el cargo de cancelación anticipada será no mayor de $100 si el término restante es menor de 12 meses y $200 si el término restante es de 12 meses o más.
